need help with tomato firmware

hi, i just installed the newest tomato firmware onto my linksys WRT54G version 2 router and am unable to access the GUI. i keep getting wrong password error, i am using admin for both username and password like is stated in readme after i reset the router. the internet connection is fine but i want to be able to access my router. thanx

try user name = root password = admin

If I remember right, username is blank and password is admin....

nope, tried all that. i followed the readme exactly and tried resetting the router too. still nothing

are you sure that your hard resetting the router correctly?

hold in the reset button til all lights go red
