I was here awhile ago and asked of a better way to do remote desktop'ing. Someone posted a tutorial or site that had a good vnc program with client side program that would make a *.exe file for clients to download and run on thier machine in order to give me remote access to fix thier machines. I can no longer find that tutorial/site so if anyone knows what I'm talking about or something similiar please let me know.

Thanks

Tight VNC works great. If you have a software firewall remember to assisgn permission to the VNC program. If you are using router on the server PC you will have to open a port . If you have multiple pcs on the router and want to use any of the pcs as servers it is easier to assign static IPs based on the PCs MAC address.

If your IP address is dynamic you will need to find your ip address.
An easy to use GUI utility is IP2
