Need help with this one!!

I just did a format and reinstall of Windows xp. I also have a raid(stripe) that I use to back up my files. After I installed XP and loaded all my drivers I tried to get some of my files off of the raid. Some of the files on the raid gave me an Access denied prompt when I tried to open them. But the rest of the files are fine. I can open them with no problems! I tried admin to open them, and also take ownership. Still get the same error. Any ideas on what I can do to get into these files?

You may have done this, I apologize if I insult.

Taking ownership with admin doesn't let you open the file in itself. Do a 'take ownership' AND reset the permissions to get the files open.
