Need help with this 80's song!! Don't know the name

Gawd! I was in the bookstore the other day getting a book for one of my classes and I heard this old 80's song on the speaker system that I hadn't heard in AGES!! Now, I know that I only know two verses (actually less), but maybe it's enough for someone to catch on.

It's I fast, upbeat rock song with piano in the background. Was very popular back in the day.

I know it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but I can try can't I?

Thanks for your help in finding the song:| Ohh, and thanks for analyzing my thread title as well, it really helped me out:disgust: Even if I knew the name of the song, that doesn't mean I knew who it was sang by. You know, a lot of people sing songs with the same name or even sing the same songs in their own way.

Well, the "you came into my life" and piano clues immediately brought to mind a song that of course I can't remember the title for. The main hook is, "You're 16, you're beautiful, and you're mine."

Sorry if that's not it...it's the only one that immediately came to mind that fit the clues.

CG, the song you're thinking of is by Ringo Starr and it is actually titled "You're 16, You're Beautiful, and You're Mine".

Not sure if that was what NFS4 is looking for because it came out in the mid-seventies and I don't think there's a "Baby, close/dry your eyes" line in there.

It's not anything that has been listed so far...it was an 80's soft rock...not heavy
