Need help with the DVI to VGA Adapter

I got a ATI 8500LE 128MB video card
and I want to use dual monitor
but there are two different adapters in the market
i dont know which one to choose form

my video card dvi look like this

my dvi slot in the video card doesnt look like the one in that picture
mine has a "minus" hole after the 24 hole
and the picture one has four holes and a "plus" hole

it sounds like you don't have an analogue out on you DVI port. Those little dots that you're drawing are digital outs. THe little cross that you're saying you don't have is analogue. If don't have the cross I don't see how it could be output to an analogue CRT unless the adapter actually did digital to analogue conversion which would be really expensive. To be safe you should get the adapter from ATI but I"m not sure if you can actually do analogue with that port.
