I'm trying to get my Trident 9685 to work under Win2000 so I can use it as a second vid card (the first one is a Radeon 64megs VIVO OEM). The Trident is a PCI card.
I can get it to work just fine under Win98SE in a dual monitor setup, but on win2000 it just gives me an error in the device manager saying that the device cannot be started. I'm really annoyed 'cause I want it to work under win2000, having a spare monitor and using win2000 most of the time...
I tried to search for a win2000 driver, no go (altho win2000 seems to provide one, but like I said it doesnt seem to work correctly). Any idea guys? A driver, an hack, anything? Help is very appreciated. Thanks.
