need help with tanning...

I'm pretty pale...but also half middle eastern...so when I sit out in the sun I get red, then the next day really tan.
I have the week off so I though tit would be a good idea to tan a little (something I never do).

Can anyone recommend a good lotion that will allow me to tan but curb the burning?

I don't want any lectures about melanoma...I KNOW what the sun can do...but I also never go out in the sun (well, mostly becaus eI was fat 😉) but now I've lost weight and am looking pretty good, so I figured I'd look a little tan this summer 😉.

I dunno what it was, but there was this oil-type stuff that was SPF 0 that two of my friends used a couple weeks ago and no joke my friend got SOOO dark from just maybe an hour in the sun.

Does tanning oil actually help you tan or just do the same thing as sunblock

I'm not too certain. I don't think it prevents the UV rays, I think it curbs the burning from the actul heat
