Need help with taming Internet Explorer

Hello everyone,

Some websites nowadays are getting extremely annoying and I could use your help.

Is there a way to change IE so that websites do not make IE become the active window when they refresh or load? Example: Say I go to a website and while it is loading, I go to Outlook to type some email. But when the page loads the IE window will either flash frantically or pop to the front and become the active window. This is really annoying!
If you want an example, go to http://www.autoweek.com and quickly switch to another program while the website loads. IE will pop back at ya and keep doing it until you submit to it.

If you know how to fix this and maybe even post some other tricks I would really appreciate it!

Hmm, it doesn't seem to be happening for me with Windows XP SP1 and IE 6 SP1. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any option in the IE Internet Options that would seem to prevent it from doing this, but I did find in TweakUI (in the XP Powertoys collection) an option under General > Focus called "Prevent applications from stealing focus" that might help you.
