need help with some re-wiring......

well i have gotten ahold of an old everex 486 laptop...it is a piece of garbage but the lcd moniter on it still works.....i have a project that i could use such a usefully piece for....my question is can anyone tell me how to pin-out the connections so i can use this on a "run of the mill" video card?????? or can this even be done....at any rate can someone help....thanks a million!

It *can* be done (almost anything *can* be done!) but it would cost much more than just buying an LCD panel made for use as a monitor. And be much less attractive.
