I'm putting together a P4 2.4B rig on a Gigabyte 8sq800 and trying to decide on memory. I was considering the following
2x256 PC3200 winbond relabled as Twinmos $59 each or $74 for non-relabled
2x256 PC3200 Corsair for $82 each
2x256 PC2700 Corsair for $64 each
What do you guys think? Suggestions? I'm a heavy gamer and will probably try to get into overclockin after i have this system for awhile. Should i maybe get PC3500 instead?
I looked around at some other threads regarding mem differences but I could not find anything specific to my options. I was also considering getting 2x512 instead but have decided against that due to money. Anyone think i need a gig of mem now or just wait till mem goes down in the future and then get some more sticks.
