Need help with setting up terminal services on Win2k Server

Ok during the install I installed all of the terminal services on the 2k Server. What do I need to do on the Server, and on my Win2K Professional machine, so that I can remotely administer it from my Pro machine?

All you need to do now is just re-boot your sever so that Install can finish installing the TS services. I hope when you installed TS on your server you selected the Remote Administrator, then you will not need to setup a License server.

One you do have it in place, then you can use the Terminal Server Client that ships with Windows 2000 professional. You can search for the Terminal Services Advanced Client, which is an ActiveX plugin that you install on the TS server. The ActiveX plugin is downloaded when you access the server via a web browser (ONLY IE, NOT NAVIGATOR). Thus, if you want to use TSAC, you will have to install IIS on your TS server. The documentation that comes with the TASC is very straight forward. But, the biggest problem that I have seen is that you will have no ability to transfer files to and from your TS server via the TS interface with the TSAC client. Only the version that ships with Windows 2000 originally.

If you need help setting this up, just PM me.
