Need help with selecting office plant

I would like grow a small office plant on my desk.
Know of any good ones that can grow without direct sunlight? And ones that are easy to maintain?

If all the lighting is Flourescent and any windows are more than 10 feet away, plastic or silk is your only hope.

How about a Betta Fish or a bowl of Hershey Kisses or even some Mints to keep the office hottie coming to your cube in the mornings to say Hi.

Just wondering why you'd need a plant. Just too much maintenance in my opinion.
