Hey folks,

I need some help with my new S2716DG monitor. The setup that I have currently is this.

3 monitors:

Left and right are Dell S2409W 1920 x 1080 60HZ
Center is the S2719DG. 2560x1440 144HZ.

I have the gtx 1080 driving them.

My 2409s both have DVI to DP connections and my 2719 has DP to DP connection.

I have the center set as my primary display.

The issues is that I'm getting horrible input lag and tearing.

Playing youtube movie there is noticeable lag in sound to lip sync on center monitor. If i move the page over to the other monitors it works fine.

Playing Counter strike. the lag is aweful and the screen tears when i turn.

In looking into this. I found that the S2716 monitor was showing up as 24Hz only. In the control panel, I couldn't change the refresh rate to anything about 24Hz at 2560x1440. So I changed the cable out to an HDMI cable and now I can get 60Hz. But the monitor and card supports 144Hz...so I'm getting a new Displayport Cable in hopes that a shorter cable (old one was 25') will fix the problem.

Fixed it.

The issue was the DP cable. I originally got a 25' cable, which should have been fine according to the spec, but didn't work at the max resolution for whatever reason. I got a new cable 20' and it works great 144HZ no issues.
