Need help with reformat

GarlicBreath

I have a friend's computer at my house that I need to reformat. He's running Windows 98. Going to 98SE. He has a dial-up internet connection using MSN. I want his internet connection to work after the reformat. What information/settings do I need to record before I reformat it?

Thanks for taking the time to help, guys.

Well, you will need the MSn software again to reinstall, so you should maybe save that on a cd or something. You may also need his modem drivers. Other than that, I would think he just needs to know his account name and password.

Ya just the modem drivers, MSN software, and Account settings. I would make sure that you install some AV before connecting him to the outside world. Also a Spyware system would be good as well.
