Need help with ram

havent been up to date on computer, i am going to get this mobo

ECS NFORCE 570 SLIT-A (V5.1)

and i need to know if it takes pc2 5300 or pc2 5400 ram i dont know wht the difference is and i want to make sure i buy the right one

edit: looking at your join date you joined on my bday in 99..random fact

The AT forums changed servers or something back in 99. So everyone that was a member was moved over and got a joined date of 10/**/1999.
