Need help with RAM upgrade

I could use some advice with RAM. It's been 4 years since I bought my last computer and I haven't been keeping up to date on computer parts. I just got a new Dell dimension and I plan on upgrading it immediately. It's using a 2.4b processor I think, 533 FSB. I don't plan on overclocking either.

When I bought from the site, I got 256 MB of Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 333MHz (2x128M). I find myself looking through dozens of types of RAM and I have no idea what I should get. I'm guessing PC2700 RAM is prob the best for me but what's dual channel, does that mean I have to upgrade in sticks of 2? I could some use help on what brand and type of ram I should get. Also, is 256 good or should I get more, I have 2 slots for RAM left?

Thanks in advance.

You should probably get a 512MB stick of Corsair DDR SDRAM PC-3200. Duel channel memmory just means that the ram operates faster.
