Need help with Raid

I can't get raid to work in Windows XP, I have raid enabled in bios, I have 2 western digetal 40 gig hard drives, when I switch the jumper to raid, I reboot from cdrom, setup ask me to install raid drivers and I try and I keep getting the same error, I tried the updated drivers to, this is what the error says:
File \winxp\fasttrek.sys caused a unexpected error (18) at line 2108 in d:\xplient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c
Please help, I've been trying to figure this out for 3 days
