You can make up answers for all I want, but if you can take a few minutes coming up with good responses to these questions, it'll be well appreciated!

Basically my project is to research what people have done and have gone through as a result of econ hardship. You can keep your answers private or public, or even answer from the perspective of someone else. It really DOESN'T have to be about your personal experiences, or even be facts. Any good responses to ANY of these questions are welcome, you can even add your own questions if you want too.

Questions will come in next post.

The person I've "chosen" for this is someone who's dropped out of school or something.

1) Tell us about yourself and what your current life is like today.
2) How did you feel about others who were more fortunate than you?
3) Did you feel any resent toward others around you?
4) How did your family feel toward you?
5) How did you feel about not having the ability to provide for them?

6) What motivated you to wake up every morning?
7) How did you get into the situation you were in?
8) What kind of serious dreams for the future did you have as a child/teenager?
9) When did you realize you had to let go of them and "settle" for something more reasonable?
10) If you could go back in time, how would you change things?

Ten more questions to come soon..

11) What steps did you take to get out of your situation?
12) How did you find enough to get by?
13) Do you feel society is obligated to help you, a fellow human being, survive?
14) Being that you're a father, what kind of things do you wish you were able to provide your children that you weren't able to?
15) To those who've helped you, do you feel you need to give back to them? Or should those people believe giving to you was contributing to the society as a whole?

Five more questions to go..

I think posting this here is really an excuse to use the forums instead of going offline and typing in Word.

Sorry I couldn't resist.

I'm glad I didn't offend you. I know you're doing something serious, but I'm slap-happy from lack of sleep. :)

16) At what point do you think people should ask for help from others, either those close by or the government?
17) Should all people in economic hardship be helped? Or should only those who were put into the situation by an outside force be helped, while those who caused it themselves (i.e. drugs, dropped out of school) be denied?
18) What sorts of things did you learn while in your situation?
19) What kind of things did you do to "get away" from your troubles?
20) How did you sway away from the thoughts that you just couldn't make it anymore?
21) Did you ever seriously think or attempt suicide?

Golden Bear:

I'll give you a decent answer (and a real world one) after I wake up today. If I don't, just PM me and remind me. Happy New Year!
