Need Help With Problems Playing MDK2

I'm not a gamer so I need help with this one. My grandson can't get MDK2 to run on his system. He has an Intel mobo, Celeron 466 chip and a 32MB Savage 4 vid card. His OS is WinME.

I know I can run the game on my system (Abit KT7, Duron 700@1083, GeForce2 MX) in Win98SE but it won't even load in Win2K.

Any suggestions as to the problem and a possible fix? Is WinME the problem? The video card?

WinME Is VERY MUCH the problem.

There's one particular file that gives MDK a problem under WinME.. it's a known problem and I don't know if they released a patch yet or not. Check out the game company's web site, they give you the .dll to switch and the game will run after that.
