This is my first time setting a library with a barcode reader and I am having lots of problems. The biggest problem that I have is that all the tape that I put into the magazine is recognized as a cleaning tape. I enabled the barcode rules on the library and add a barcode rule, but nothing has got me further. I have updated the firmware to the latest version and reinstall veritas just in case but i`ve got the same problems. If I load a brand new tape manually from the front panel from the magazine to one of the drive, the drive immediately reported a !M (according to my research its mean a media error). The barcode that is on the tape is 000010L1 which follow the barcode regulations for LTO tapes. I really dont know what is going on, maybe somebody with experience working with dell autoloaders can throw in some of your knowledge to help me.
