Would an Enermax Liberty 620 be enough to power a system with 8800GTX SLI, Quad Core CPU, 2 Raptors, Sound Blaster X-Fi, etc?

I'm having a problem where after I plugged in all my components and press the power button, there is a really high pitch squeel.

When I just plugged in the motherboard and video cards by themselves earlier, it powered on just fine.

Yes it has 22A x 2 on the 12v rail however I just order the enermax galaxy 850 which has 5 12v rails. The weakest of which has 28A and it's rated for 24/7 operation at 50C. I've run enermax ps's for the past several years and I believe that they are one of the highest quality units that you can get. Both of my sons run the liberty 620 and it has been good however I'm moving to an xclio windtunnel case and am going to load it up with hd's so I want power in reserve. You might want to consider the infinity series which has a little more amperage on the 12v rails.

I once forgot to plug in the PCI-E power plug on my 8800GTS and got the same thing. I think the "squeal" is the vid card (or onr of them) telling you it doesn't have enough juice. You could try ensuring the plugs are all seated well.

Since the vid cards and MB run fine without all the other stuff (drives etc) I would hazard a guess that the PSU is running "on the edge". does it run OK with just one GTX installed?

Also, is this a different rig than what is in your sig?
