Need help with php

Hello AT programming gurus, I dont have a clue with regard to php. But I have a php file and when i use it in a webpage, it brings in a default from somewhere.

for example, I have a page about recipes and there is this field <?=$url?> which shows a different website name. Where can i find the initial setup. so this template file includes header, sidebar and footer and all of the links are directed to the original website.

so an link I click on takes me to a 404 as that site does not exist anymore.

ex: original site www.xyz.com

new site www.abc.com

because <?=$url?> is present in template.php, it directs me to www.xyz.com/abcd.html instead of www.abc.com/abcd.html

check out firebug, and see if it will help you

Firebug is for client-side Javascript; I doubt it will work for server-side PHP.

Your script probably has an include or a require. Those script(s) might have more.

Look for $url = or $url= in all your php files
