I recently got a new pc and my old speakers are too old. I mostly use my pc for music listening. Im just wondering if someone could recommend good speakers with a good sub woofer. Not too expensive. Im a newbie at this so just need a little bit of guidance to choose the right setup. Thanks():)

Define not too expensive. And what do you mean by too old? Do they work?

These are really a bit overpriced compared to the Monoprice monitors, but if you like Apple-esque style and brand image the Audioengine A5+ are supposed to be a very nice pair of PC speakers. I don't have any personal experience with them, however.

Since they are 5" woofers and have good specs for power and frequency response you shouldn't need a sub with these, either.

I prefer the krk rokit 5 to the audioengine, but that is me.
