Im finally going to do paypal instead of money orders
is it safe this way?
btw to become verifyed I need a bank acount , it never gave me the option to put my interact card in..
only credit card , does that mean I have to put credit card? to become verifyed?

I've had no problems with it so far. Just make sure the new balance shows up on your account before you ship. And yes, you have to enter your CC to become verified.

I've never had a problem with my Paypal account... everything I've done with it goes really smooth, and I've done a lot of buying on the FS/FT forum with it.

Im trying to use my debit card , but all it says is " choose your card " and there is no "debit" option.... anyone know how I can use my debit instead of credit card?

A lot of people here would only link PayPal to a secondary bank account with a low balance. In the past, there have been some (limited) horror stories of chargebacks where PayPal could dip into your bank account if a buyer disputed a credit card funded transaction. To date, I refuse to link my account to a bank account (so I'm not verified).

I'm not trying to scare you though; a lot of people do link PayPal to their bank accounts.

As always, be sure to choose a good password (and one you don't need to write down to remember).

Hi,

There are limits as to how much one can withdraw before being further verified---

U.S. Users. In order to withdraw funds that PayPal is holding in custody for you, you must confirm the email address that you registered by responding to a message that PayPal will send to that address when you have completed registration, and you must register a bank account or credit card with PayPal. New PayPal Users who signed up for a PayPal account after November 14, 2002 are required to complete two out of three authentication steps (confirm bank account, enter Member Number, confirm Social Security Number) in order to withdraw more than $500 per month. In addition, Users who signed up for a PayPal account on or before November 14, 2002 will be required to complete two of the three authentication steps described above in order to withdraw more than $500 per month for the first 120 days. Some accounts, at PayPal's discretion, may have this limit even after 120 days. Some accounts, at PayPal's discretion, may have lower limits until the authentication steps have been completed. Account limits, if any, can be viewed from the "View Limits" link on the Account Overview page

Ryen, a debit card also acts as a credit card, it will either have Visa, MasterCard, or Discover on it. That is what you use for your type of card.

Canadian Interac Cards arent quite the same as a us debit/check card. They dont have the Credit card logos on interac card and cant be used like one.

BTW, I have a US account i have set up to paypal and my fiance has a paypal account but its from his canadian credit card.
