Need help with Outlook and attachments

I recently started using Microsoft Outlook for e-mail, etc. Whenever I receive an e-mail with a file attached, Outlook won't let me view the file. Instead I get the message: Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments:. How can I view my attachments?????

Coolie you should be able to click on the paper clip that is displayed in the upper right hand corner of the lower right preview window. If you still can't open them try checking the settings in your antivirus program if you have one. This may be keeping you from opening them for you own protection. You might also try saving attachments first. Hope this helps.

do you have the Service pack 2? if so that is why you cant open the attatchment, well if it is an .exe file...
