Need help with old car ID .. possibly 1960's Datsun

Ok, i have an old 16mm reel full of tv commercials I am selling. One of the commercials is of King Kong and a car, probably from the 1960's. I've found evidence on the intarweb that Datsun did a commercial with King Kong on their 60's king cab trucks, and from the description it is very similar to what I have, but involves a 4 door car instead. Can anybody confirm that the car in the photo is a Datsun, and possibly what model. I realize it's a horrible photo, but that's the best I can do since I don't have a 16mm projector or viewer. Any tips appreciated.

Don't know man, i hope a fair amount. Depends on what car it is I guess. I'm the kind of guy that starts stuff at $5.00 on ebay and just sees what happens.

That King Kong car commercial I saw when I was a kid. The car was a Beetle.
