Also this is what i have try so far..

keeping my multiplier at stock 9
i changed the FSB 1600
DDR Mem set at 800
Set vcore at 1.375
everything else left at default or auto

Is there anything else I'm missing it boots into windows but right after it starts loading my start up i get a blue screen?? Am i missing anything here?

I did that -- responded to his PM.

We went through a big discussion about this, as you remember. I'm pointing him to BIOS revision 1305 -- supposedly good for FSB 1333 CPUs. We all had trouble with that revision using 1066FSB cores.

He seems to be in too much a hurry to "get there." Even I take shortcuts, but 400/1600 Mhz on the Striker gets tricky. It needs extra CPU_VTT, and he needs to take his time following Graysky's "method." Too much CPU_VTT, and he could do to his $1K QX6850 (65nm) what people had been doing with their Wolfdales using settings above 1.45V.

It did seem oddly familiar. Hopefully he solves his situation to satisfaction.

Ok this is where I'm at i have my i have my QX6850 running at 3.4 using the following settings... multiplier at 10 running at 1360 (340) and a 800 FSB and my vcore is at 1.375 idle at 51 and under full load goes to about 57 58 are these temps ok plus the main question i have on the striker extreme board i'm using i read a article saying these setting should be disable?? can anyone confirm if this is true?
the following should be disable???

CPU Thermal Control
C1E Enhance Halt state
Intel Speedstep
CPU Spread spector
PCIe Spead spector
PCIe """" (SSP)
PCIe """" (MCP)
SATA Spead Spector.
should all these be disable??
Also please mention anything i might have miss.

Thanks
