Need help with O/C 1.8!

Hi, Can someone help me?
I Bought a NW 1.8 with boxed fan and Asus 4PS533 and 256 DDR-Ram Sansung. Installed everything and o/C the cpu to FSB 133. Everything is fine, but when i benchmark with 3d Mark 2001 SE build 330 under WinXP, I only get a score of 7500 with my Geforce 3 Ti200. The reasons seems to be, that when i benchmark, some of them don´t run really smooth e.g. the natur bench jump between 20 and 50 fps almost every second while moving the cam over the fields. What can be the matter? Other Infos: Det. 29.42 for geforce, agp driver 1.1 from SIS, Directx 8.1B.

Any suggestions for solving this?

From what I've seen, that's pretty much on par for your system. With 133fsb and a 1.6a, I got a 9735 score, but I have a GF Ti4400. You could probably squeeze some more out of it, but I really don't think you have problem. HTH 🙂

Thanks for your answer, I´m not uncomfortable with the result, but for a geforce 3 ti 200 with a O/C 1.8 at 2.4 the result seem to be a little poor. Also you can see that something is wrong in 3dmark when you see the picture stocking in the nature bench while frames drop from 50 to 20 and then rising from 20 to 40 or 50 and dropping again.

So there seems to be still a problem. I once got the nature benchmark (only it without any others) run smooth, with 41 fps as a result, but without changing anything, the result by nature now is 25 fps( and the jumping fps from 20 to 50 every second) in the whole benchmark serie. So there must be a problem, cause that can´t be normal.

Any idea.

Try run your CPU at 1.8 then run the test and see what you get..if its higher at 1.8 there is something worg with you CPU(being O/C) if not then its your video card...(or nothing at all)

I tested the o/c CPU with prime95 for about 14 hours no problems and sandra cpu-scores are higher than a "normal" P4 2.4, so the CPU should be fine. The geforce is from my old PC and i never Had any problems with it. Also theFSB is 133, so AGP isn´t out of range from speed. It´s only this weired behavier when running 3dMark by some of the benchmarks (e.g. nature).
