This is my first post, so I will try to be as clear as possible. I recently bought a pci video card(xfx geforce 400mx pci 64mb) for an older system(abit bx6 ver2--yes, it is old and slow) so my kids can play newer games. The card that I currently have is a diamond multimedia agp 1x w/8mb memory. This wont run the newer games.
When I try to install the new card and turn on the machine, I get no video. Everything else boots up, but no video. I tried removing all the other cards to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would just upgrade my whole system, but i am currently a student and can not afford too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
