Need help with new case

What sort of cords are they? If they end in thermal probes (probably looks like a wire encased in plastic) then you put them on whatever you want to monitor. Put the HDD temp one on the hard drive (on the top, or one of the chips on the underside), and put the processor one so it rests on the heatspreader.

Your 7800GT should have come with an adapter to merge two 4-pin Molex connectors into one 6-pin PCIe connector.

You can put it anywhere you want as long as you remember where it is.
but just incase things like this happens...
oh !#@$ my hdds doing 75C, o wait thats my video card.

i would put them where daemon recommended.

the video should have came with an adaptor if it was retail. if it was oem then your gonna have to buy an adaptor

I just found the adapter, and yes, I was talking about heat probes. Is there a way to make it stick, or do I just lay one on top of the hard drive and the other on top of the heat sink. Where exactly do I put the one for the processor, do you mean just lay it on top of the heat sink. Thanks for all the help, it actually turned on and I am formatting it right now, even after bending 3 of the processor pins and spending an hour trying to get them straight again. There are also some other cords coming from the front of the case that I don't know what to do with, the manual is horrible, it gives basically no help at all besides how to mount the HDD and optical drives. I'm not really sure how to describe the other two cords I am referring to, they look like they should plug into the back of a soundcard, but they are on the inside of the case. Thanks again for the help, I wish this case actually had a manual.

Yes, you can stick it. You could hold it to the HDD with electrical tape. For the CPU, many people use a router to make a groove in the heatsink base and put the probe in there. That gets the most accurate readings. Or you could push it under the heatsink until it hits the side of the heatspreader and tape it in place there. But you'll get the most accuracy if it's touching the heatspreader (actually, if it's touching the core, but you don't want to mess around with that).

They are probably for headphone and mic sockets at the front of the case. If you want to use them, plug them into the corresponding sockets on the soundcard.
