Need help with NES game...

Back in the day, I remember playing a NES game where you were Godzilla like monsters and you battled in cities. I know this is pretty generic but I am hoping somoene remembers. I am 90% sure it was for NES, might have been GENESIS. Anyone? THANKS.

mmmm.. the only thing that came to my mind was the NeoGeo and subsequent Genesis/SNES port of "King of the Monsters" which was a one-on-one fighting game where 2 godzilla-like monsters fight in a huge city. You could trash buildings and stuff while you fight...etc. Is that it?


edit: Others mentioned Rampage.. which could be the one. It had 3 monsters, an ape, lizard and I think rat???

Played rampage numerous times, its not it. This was a 1on1 game, which looks like King of the monsters. My only problem is that the game was for SNES, which I didnt own. I cant remember if someone brought over there SNES or if I am just going crazy.
 
Nevermind, the game is indeed King of the Monsters for SEGA. I thought I had a NES at the time, but I guess it never came out for that system. Thanks guys.
 
He just said it was what I suggested and its "King of the Monsters", which came out for the Genesis and SNES. I am the winner.. where's my prize??!!

rampage was such a good game... then they came out with rampage world tour and that was only decent/// I love eating hot chicks out.... of windows.

Yea.. I didn't care for the World Tour games. Surprised no 3D/online version ever came out. You could have maybe 10 monsters going at it in a huge city modeled after real cities..all online of course. I dunno..it could be a fun party game.
