Need help with name of a book

A few months ago someone published a book that contained alot of interesting facts about New York City the average New Yorker wouldn't know. Stuff like abandoned subway stations that are still underground, or how mail used to be delivered in Manhattan back in the day (they were shot across a network of pipes), et cetera. Anyone remember the name of this book?
