Need help with my NetGear, Please.

I have an MR814 router and MA401 card. I have used the card on my wife's laptop for about a year and just recently acquired an IBM TP that I will be using the card on exclusively. The TP has WXPP on it, as does my desk top. For whatever reason, after plugging in the card and starting up the TP, it goes through the hardware set-up wizard, recognizes the card, but can't make a connection. I've turned my router settings to the basics for now and still no luck and the router isn't recognizing the card on the TP. The link light on the card continues to flash.


Any suggestions and/or tips would be very much appreciated.
