Need help with my GPU

I have the AsRock 939 Dual VSTA M1695 board. This is actually my 3rd one. The board I just got was actually a little different than my other ASRock. Instead of the VSTA it was the SATA2. I was actually able to boot up without reinstalling XP, which was nice. My problem is that I can't play F.E.A.R. or the extraction demo. Every time I load either one up I get sound, and whenever I highlight an option I can hear the beep, but I don't get anything on my monitor but a black screen, and going into the task manager, the game is running fine. I just updated my drivers for my card, a BFG 6800GT, and still the same thing. I thought it might be something to do with my settings in the BIOS. So I went in there and changed my gpu size to 256 and my main graphics card under AGP, since this board supports both AGP and PCI-E. I'm running out of ideas and need help. What are your thoughts?

Considering it's a different revision of the mobo, my first guess is that the specific chipset drivers for that revision weren't installed. First uninstall the old chipset drivers in Add/Remove Programs, then install the latest drivers and reboot.

Can you completely disable PCI-E in the BIOS? This might do the trick.

And drop your AGP size back down, increasing to 256 can sometimes do more harm than good (you don't want the GART to blow out of proportion). 128 is sufficient for your system.
