Need help with my first custom gaming PC

I'm thinking about building my very first custom entry level gaming PC. I current have an old computer with and old GeForce 210 and some old DDR2 667MHz RAMS that I like to use on the new machine. Can someone recommend a good CPU and motherboard that are compatible with my current GPU and DDR2 RAM? Also, should I get a CPU cooler as well? Thanks in advance.

You're not going to buy anything decent for gaming that will use DDR2 RAM. The GeForce 210 isn't a good game card either.

I plan to only use it for Dota and League. I don't have any issues running these games with my current OEM PC. I'm looking to make a minor CPU upgrade, but my current motherboard only support up to Pentium D 960.
Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Yep, if you want something inexpensive, go to ebay or Craigslist. If you are willing to spend around $500, this may be the thread for you:
