need help with my computer getting stuck

my system is as follows:
a8n-e mobo
3200+
1gb ram
120gb sata drive

whenever i boot i get stuck at the motherboard screen and it says hit delete to enter setup, it seems to freeze there. all i did was change my msconfig startup to get rid of some crap. i did disable some blank entries that had no name, i figured it wouldnt cause a problem. i also installed microsoft bootvis if that has anything to do with it..
 
Welcome to the Forums 🙂 Also confirm that your keyboard is plugged into the purple port, not the green one (green's for mouse), if you have a PS/2 keyboard. PS/2 is the round plugs, as opposed to the flat USB plugs. pic with ports identified
