Need help with my 700m

It seems right when my warranty expired, the touchpad decided to crap out on me.

It does not work at all, but plugging in a USB mouse works.

I tried uninstalling the touchpad and reinstalling but it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions or past expierences would be great thanks 🙂

A replacement touchpad should be easy enough to buy and replace. You will probably replace the entire palm rest as the touchpad is built into it. The touchpad just plugs in via a small data cable, so you can check to make sure that's securely fastened in there.

Check ebay, they seem to always have parts for the 700m.

First thing I would do is to try reinstalling the touchpad drivers.

Also check the bios and make sure it didnt get disable somehow.
