I was attempting record from a cassette tape. I hooked the line from the microphone jack of my stereo to the computer. When I recorded it never took. I tried the line in jack and the microphone jack. I set the source as line or mic. But the recording never worked. The sound came through my computer speakers also. The timer never moved on the recorder. Not sure what happened. Any thoughts?
I followed the directions in help exactly. I double click the speaker on the toolbar and check the recording properties. Still no luck.
