Need help with Mozilla browser

Ok, I'm so use to pushing shift and the left mouse button to open up a new window when clicking on a link when I'm using IE. But I'm using Mozilla now and you have to hold Ctrl to open up the broswer in a new window. I tried going through the settings to see if I can change it but I don't see a way. Is there something I can do?
