Need help with motherboard problem

I had a Gigabyte DS3L motherboard that recently stopped posting. So now I need to decide whether to wait for the long and not so great Gigabyte RMA process, or to buy a new board. What I want to know is whether the DS3L is still the best quality mobo around $100, or if there are better options. I don't plan on SLI or CF, nor to do a lot of overclocking.
