need help with monitor

this is a dumb question but right now iam dumb 🙂 is their a way to adjust the picture on the monitor. it seems that everytime i turn on my computer the picture has moved somewhere. i have to adjust it with the buttons on the monitor but i would much rather just have an easy fix. my monitor is a 17 compusa special nothing fancy.
