Need help with missing screws.

So i just bought n HD6850, all the screws were off of the shroud and the heatsink and inside a bag. Someone stole that bag and now i have a GPU with a heatsink, but no way of attaching them. Can someone PLEASE help me get these two peices (and the shroud) back together without the stock screws, or a way to get more stock screws.

I've had that happen before. You need to take the card to a hardware store like Ace Hardware or Do-It-Best. Look through their metric section to see if they have the right size screws. You will have to try them out until you get the right size. Radioshack also has a selection of small screws too, it may be best to start there.

If I was in that situation, I'd do what Subyman suggested and head to every local hardware store I could find, bringing the card in with me (and maybe a tiny screw-driver) and testing screws until I found something that worked. The problem is that very few hardware stores carry that small of a screw in metric. Times like this I wish the US was metric, you know, like the rest of the world.

Your best bet is to head to a local computer shop. We have a couple of those and I'm sure they'd be able to hook you up after some social engineering!

Excellent suggestions guys. I will go to some hardware stores this weekend. I have checked old electrionics and none of them seem to fit.
