need help with logitech quickcam pro 4000 software (anyone got an old version of the software? or know of an alternate?)

I just bought one of these webcams. Unfortunantly, the software only allows you to do a webcam through spotlife.

I heard that earlier versions of the software allowed you to do a normal webcam.

Does anyone have an earlier version, or know of some free (or commercial) alternative software that will allow me to do a "normal" webcam (ie, upload the images up to my site)?

What verison do you need? When I get home, I can check my software package.

I'm not sure what version supports "normal" webcam operation, but I have version 7.00...

McGrep, I have a Logitech 3000 and am currently using ICUII software for video conferencing with my dad. I have used three different software programs from different companies and all of them operated the web cam as "normal." When you say normal operation what do you mean? I envision normal as you see someone, they see you, and you can talk like you are video conferencing. Is that what you mean?
