Need help with Lite-on Drive

hey every1

need ur help here.. seems like when i power on my system and coonect the power supply cable to my 16x liteon burner, i cannot start on my computer.. the power never reaches to the cdrom, whereas if i took off the cable to the unit, it is all fine.. can anyone detect what is wrong wtih my burner?? it was working a couple of days ago and now this..

That is a pretty tough problem to solve without having it right in front of me but I had the same problem with a Acer and as it turned out the burner went belly up. Try this, shut the machine down and unplug the data cable and just leave the power cable plugged in and see if it will boot and pay attention to the fans in the computer to see if it powers up.
