Need help with laptop

Hi. I will be starting college soon and I was planning on buying a laptop. But there are just too many out there and I'm not really sure what to buy. Well my budget is 1500$ and I would like something not so big, portable so I can take it anywhere, and with average multimedia capabilities (audio, video, etc.). Doing some research i found the Pavilion tx200z, quite portable, and the touch screen is great at the moment of making short notes and drawings. But im not sure about it's processor, it's heating problems, etc. What do you say? Any help is apreciated.

thank you....

If you want a tablet, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba and even Gateway are decent. HP and Dell will had deals not too long ago that allowed you to configure decked out machines for ~$1000. If you can wait, you can hit a similar deal this summer before school starts as these tend to be biannual. Otherwise, Lenovo also has deals from time to time (check fatwallet) so you can find their tablets for under $1500 either during deals or in their outlet.
