ok, this is getting ridiculous, I have a 60 gig maxtor harddrive as master on My ide channel, and I have an 18gig scsi hard drive running windows off of my adaptec 29160. Now my problem is I tell kazaa to install to d drive (my 60 gig) and it installs there, it then asks me where to put the start menu icons, I don't have windows on the 60gb hdd as it will boot to that drive regardless of my instructions in bios if I have windows loaded on it. besides I just want to use it as a download hard drive and keep my 18 gig fast. My problem is when I download something it creates a folder on my 18 gig drive and starts saving in there, no matter if I click on the kazaa icon in the start menu of if i click on the one in my d drive. So my question is How do I make it so that it will only download to the d drive (I have tried moving the folder off of my c drive and onto the d drive, but all this does is make kazaa make another folder on my c drive.

Don't have Kazaa installed so I can't find out myself, but you might want to try checking the registry. See if you can change the default download drive or something like that.

now this is very strange, everything in the registry all points to my d: drive, I haven't changed anything, and the problem is the same, this is really messed up, it says in registry download directory is d:\kazaa\my download files I mean if it is set to my d:\ drive ... ugh thanks for the thought tho!
