ok so I have 3 options and have to decide by tom. about this job offer

1) work on a PhD project for a year and get only a student stipend, but not sure if i will get into a PhD program that will accept this research
2) work here for a year making a very minimal salary for someone of my education (masters degree in biomedical engineering)
3) try and find another job (havent been to successful)

so i was wondering if there are any websites taht tell average salaries for different jobs...

also does it seem reasonable that if i can show that the offer is very low for my education, that I will agree to stay for a little while, while I determine if a PhD is possible in this group.
