ive only done this one other time but this time is not coming out quite the same...
i am trying to install windows xp on a WD 80gb...i had already set it up as an additional storage drive but now converting it to a drive for my sisters computer. i am using these parts
abit nf7-s
2x 256 mb ocz pc3200 memory
amd athlon xp 2500+ barton
cd drive
i tried to boot up using the windows xp disk, but after it loads the files & starts up windows, i get to a blue screen with an "unmountable boot disk (or drive)" message
i tried again with a 60 gb but no luck
can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? any help is appreciated. thanks
