Need help with home networking!

My current set up is:

Cable modem --> USR8000 DSL/Cable Router --> connected to 4 different PCs.

I want to add another PC to the internet distribution network. Since the Router has no more ports available, i got me a Netgrear EN104 Hub. But i dont know what i need to get em hooked up proper!

I start with a cross over cable and a straight cable but dont know which one goes where!

Would the cross over cable come out of router uplink and into any of the 1-4 ports in the hub (port #4 has normal and uplink more in the Netgear Hub)? would the straight cable go from port 1-4 from the hub to the PC ethernet card?

Thanks

Akaz

if the router has an uplink port or the hub has an uplink port just plug that into the other device using a straight through cable, if not plug 2 normal ports on the two devices together with a crossover cable
