im building my new 939 sytem using neo2platinum and a zalman cnps7000a-alcu. i know on newegg it doesnt say its compatible with 939, but i went to the zalman website and it is compatible but when the heatsink was first introduced there was no 939 so thats why its not listed as compatible on the package.
now when i try to put the plate for the heatsink on the bottom of the mobo there is already a plate there, now there was a plastic thing that came with my mobo, now am i understanding this correctly, that i say fuk the plate and the gold screws and just use that to mount it?
zalmans website says its compatible with the msi k8n neo 2 platinum when: Compatible when not using ZM80(A/C/D)-HP together! is that what that means the whole mount thingie and just use what came with the mobo?
